About

The project members work in a group in Turkey called IEL-TÜBİTAK Research Group.
IEL stands for Istanbul Erkek Lisesi ( Istanbul High School ).
TÜBİTAK stands for The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey.

Achievements

In 2007, the group has won the 1st prize in Istanbul-Marmara region, 2nd prize among 1608 projects in whole Turkey in TÜBİTAK Research Project Competition with the project called "Portable Analyzer of Seawater".

In 2008, again the 1st prize in Istanbul-Marmara region, 2nd prize among 2013 projects in whole Turkey with the project called "Improvement of Motion Systems by Using Nickel-Titanium alloy.(1st prize was not given to any project.)

In 2009, the group participated in Intel ISEF 2009 (International Science and Engineering Fair) as a representative of TÜBİTAK in Reno,Nevada/USA and won the 3rd Grand Prize with the project "Improvement of Motion Systems by Using Nickel-Titanium Alloy".

Ahmet Çokşen, the project helper, is IEL'08 alumnus.
Studying Mechanical Engineering in Karlsruhe Technische Universitaet in Germany.

Semih Boyno and Hakan Büyükkoru, the assistans, are in IEL.
